Logistics event to be held at John Lewis

SEMLEP, in conjunction with John Lewis, is hosting an event tailored to the logistics sector, giving industry professionals the chance to get together and discuss the main issues affecting the sector.

The event will be held at John Lewis in Magna Park, Milton Keynes from 9am on Thursday, March 2.

The aim of the event is to provide an opportunity for companies in the logistics sector to be informed about topics of interest together with a networking opportunity. 

The audience will be companies in the Logistics sector and representative organisations such as the Road Haulage Association and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Local Authorities, Highways England and Network Rail. 

Speakers will include; Highways England, speaking about Smart Motorways, Traffic Officers and improvements to the Strategic Road Network, Tony Bellott, Head of Operations at John Lewis distribution centre in Northampton, and Paul Thompson, Employer and Skills Manager at SEMLEP.The day
