Central to the cultural quarter in Northampton Town Centre, the Vulcan Ironworks will transform a largely derelict building into a business and learning space for creative industries.

August 2022

Opening ceremony took place, including presentations and tours of the facility.

May 2021

The project is now nearing practical completion. With a finishing date to be achieved in June, the final snagging is now taking place across the site.

December 2020

The St Johns building is now complete, as are the renovations to the Victorian roofs and all the brickwork on site. The Guildhall Road offices are nearing completion.

November 2019

Construction continues with the tower crane installed; brickwork repairs continue on the Guildhall Road elevations. The Fetter Street and Angel Street structures are progressing.

June 2019

Works progressing on site with the restoration of the roofs and brickwork and foundations being laid for the new build.

March 2019

Demolition work on the former Amalgamated Tyres site is complete. 

October 2018
