Biztech/UCMK Ask the Expert - IOT update and BrightSparc Launch

Date: July 26th, 17:30-19:00

Creative technology will be the focus of the latest in the series of Biztech/UCMK Ask The Expert events in Milton Keynes.

Biztech technology forum, in association with UCMK, will be hosting the next event in the popular series at a Milton Keynes micro-brewery.

As well as having a talk on brewing innovation at Bucks Star Brewery, attendees at the Ask The Expert event on Thursday, July 26, will hear an update on the Internet of Things in Milton Keynes from Arun Sambodaran, Senior Technical Consultant at Gemserv and be able to learn about this years Biztech BrightSparc Awards.

Biztech's chairman, Fredi Nonyelu, said: "Our series of Ask The Expert events, held in association with UCMK, have been popular, useful and interesting and we are sure this event will continue that trend.

"Techology is being used across all sectors of the economy and we look forward to hearing from Datis Gol, of Bucks Star Brewery at this event. We will also give people the chance to try one of the brewery's ales for free as we toast the launch of this year's BiztechBrightSparc Awards.

"Our BrightSparc Awards will be looking for the best technology ideas from across the business and academic community. That can be across any industrial or professional sector, including academics, students, innovators, entrepreneurs, designers, or techies.

"Biztech is here to showcase everything that is going on with technology in the Milton Keynes and SEMLEP region. In that way we positively promote the skills, talents and corporate activity that is going on here, so that we help to develop the companies of the future, the jobs and wealth that will make our economy thrive.

"We look forward to seeing everyone later this month... and encouraging everyone to spread the word about the Biztech BrightSparc Awards and head off into the summer holidays with plenty to think about."

Although the event is free but numbers are limited, please book to secure your place.
