Growing Talent

We're committed to increasing and facilitating employer engagement within education. Our Growing Talent campaigns create unique, impactful and insightful experience for businesses and students alike.

Get involved

Evidence shows that employer engagement with young people makes a real impact. Young people who receive four or more employer encounters whilst at school and college are significantly less likely to become Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) and will, on average, earn more over their career.

Our Growing Talent work presents you with a number of opportunities to help develop the talent pipeline by ensuring young people have the employability skills, attitudes and behaviours needed by employers. Want to give something back to your local community and motivate your team at the same time? Get involved.

Virtual Work Experience

Working with Speakers for Schools and local businesses we aim to deliver 5,700 virtual work experience placements by the end of 2021.

This partnership aims to strengthen links between schools and employers across the South East Midlands and ensure that young people get a high impact experience during this period of restrictions. Businesses, students and schools are invited to get involved with the programme.

Give An Hour

We're inviting business leaders to give one-hour of their time to inspire a young person's future in schools and colleges across the South East Midlands.

Your unique insight into the business environment can make a huge impact on a young person making an informed choice about their future career.

From holding virtual interviews to becoming a STEM Ambassador, your skills and knowledge will make a difference.
