Breaking news: SEMLEP European Social Fund information events

15 February 2016

SEMLEP will be hosting three half-day events to provide information and support to potential applicants for the European Social Fund (ESF).

Upcoming calls for projects will include fully funded invitations to tender from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the Skills Funding Agency (SFA), as well as Open Calls where the applicant must provide 50% of the funding for the project.

The DWP ESF Calls will typically support activities that help the unemployed and the economically inactive to move into paid employment.

The SFA ESF Calls will award funding to support young people not in education, employment and training (NEETs); skills development for the workforce at all levels, those at risk of redundancy, apprenticeships services, SME brokerage and community grants.

The programme of Open Calls includes a range of activities from support for the unemployed and NEETs, skills and active inclusion.

The events will provide you with the very latest information around the development of the SEMLEP ESF Programme and give delegates the opportunity to network with potential partners.

Book early to avoid disappointment as spaces are limited.

Each event will start at 10am, with registration/refreshments and will finish at 1pm. Please note, lunch will NOT be provided.

1. 24th February will take place at The Hat Factory, 65 – 67 Bute Street, Luton, LU1 2EY. Book your place at this event HERE.
