Exporting is GREAT Week - two free seminars

As part of Exporting is GREAT Week SEMLEP and its Velocity Growth Hub are working in partnership with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) to host two free seminars – on exporting and e-commerce.

Businesses across the South East Midlands, an area which covers Aylesbury, Bedford, Central Bedfordshire, Cherwell, Corby, Daventry, Kettering, Luton, Milton Keynes, Northampton and South Northamptonshire, are invited to attend one or both of these free events, designed to help companies achieve their export ambitions.

Northamptonshire Chamber and Milton Keynes Chamber’s international trade manager Brigid Hodgkinson will also be giving presentations at both seminars.

Simply Exporting is the topic of the first seminar, set to take place on Monday, 18^th April at the Holiday Inn, Newport Pagnell. At this seminar you will:

• Receive help and advice on exporting
• Increase the reach of your brand globally
• Identify new marketplaces around the world

The second seminar, on Tuesday, 19^th April, will take place at Northampton’s Nene Whitewater Centre, and will focus on e-commerce. At this seminar you will:

• Receive help and advice on building your online and e-commerce presence 
• Increase the reach of your brand globally 
• Identify new e-marketplaces around the world

UKTI has developed e-exporting and e-commerce programmes to help UK retailers and brands increase sales of products overseas through online channels and at both events businesses will receive advice and guidance from local experts and learn about the support on offer to help achieve export ambitions.

Both events will feature expert speakers, case studies and provide delegates with the advice and guidance.
