Infrastructure Summit

SEMLEP's Infrastructure Summit, taking place at Towcester Racecourse on 27th October from 9am to 3pm, is a high profile event set to debate the infrastructure requirements for the South East Midlands in order to deliver new homes, jobs and economic growth.  

The debate will be take place in the context of the National Infrastructure Commission’s review of the Cambridge – Milton Keynes – Oxford corridor of growth and announcements set to be made in the forthcoming Autumn Statement about Local Growth Fund Round 3 resources for Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) including SEMLEP.

The programme, while not yet confirmed, looks set to include a welcome speech from our SEMLEP Chair, Dr Ann Limb CBE DL, and keynote from Clive Faine of Abbeygate Developments Ltd, who is also Chair of SEMLEP’s Property Development Infrastructure Implementation & Delivery (PDIIDG) group.

Also involved in the debate will be Phil Hardy-Bishop, UK Infrastructure Director of RICS, Patrick O’Sullivan, East West Rail Consultant and Nick Barton, CEO of London Luton Airport.
