Redundancy Support

If you've been made redundant, it can be difficult to know how to move your career forward. We've worked with organisations across the area to identify the fully funded support available to help you. A traineeship is a skills development programme that includes a work placement. It can last from 6 weeks up to 1 year, though most traineeships last for less than 6 months. Discover local traineeships:

An apprenticeship is a real job where you learn, gain experience and get paid.

You're an employee with a contract of employment and holiday leave. By the end of an apprenticeship, you'll have the right skills and knowledge needed for your chosen career.
