Take a stand - Universities Mean Business

13 May 2016

Businesses are invited to take a stand at SEMLEP's Universities Mean Business event on Wednesday, June 1st.

This event, organised to link locally based businesses with Universities, will explore the potential for Universities to support local businesses in becoming more competitive and innovative. Delegates, largely small and medium sized companies, will also learn how best to connect and extract value from knowledge transfer opportunities and about new funding opportunities, innovation, collaboration, entrepreneurship and growth.

Businesses are invited to exhibit and take a stand at the SEMLEP event, with a handful of places still available priced £150 (please note VAT is not chargeable).

Over 200 businesses will be attending, along with an expert panel from Cranfield University, The Open University, The University of Northampton, University of Buckingham, University of Bedfordshire and UCMK. The experts will cover topics including Smart Cities, technology, cyber security, lean management and people and productivity.

The ‘Universities Mean Business’ event, organised in partnership with SEMLEP’s Velocity Growth Hub which supports small to medium sized businesses across the South East Midlands, is set to take place on Wednesday, June 1st and will be hosted by Cranfield University.

Businesses interested in paying to have a stand at this event can email SEMLEP here: Sandra.overbury@semlep.com or click on this Exhibitor Booking form.

SEMLEP’s new Chief Executive Stephen Catchpole will close the event.
