Celebrating 10 years of SEMLEP

On 31 May 2021, SEMLEP celebrated its tenth birthday. Over the past decade, SEMLEP has been committed to helping economic growth thrive in the South East Midlands, putting our businesses, places and people at the forefront of everything we do.

From managing a capital investment programme worth £265 million creating 5,529 jobs, supporting 5,523 learners and enabling 4,692 homes, to providing dedicated business support through their Growth Hub, SEMLEP’s programmes directly benefit our area.

2011

SEMLEP incorporated

The South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP) was incorporated on the 31 May 2011.

SEMLEP Chair Appointed

SEMLEP South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership was pleased to announce that Dr. Ann Limb OBE DL had been appointed as Chair effective 30th September 2011.
