Workshops held to drive forward motorsport

A series of workshops featuring key figures from the world of motorsport and high performance technology were held as part of a national industry conference.

SEMLEP representatives attended the workshops held at the National Autosport Show at the NEC in Birmingham, which also featured Lawrence Davies and Robert O'Connor from AIO, Stephane Lambotte from DIT, Roz Bird from MEPC (Silverstone, Pim van Baarsen, CEO of the Silverstone Technology Cluster, Julia Schumacher from the MIA and Caroline Robertson, CEO of ActifHR.

Jon Rawcliffe, business development manager at SEMLEP, said: "We were all together talking about various initiatives we are all working on to help support future growth in the sector."
