Join us and support Startup Europe Week 2016

28 January 2016

Monday, February 1st, marks the launch of Startup Europe Week 2016, with a host of events across Europe organised to encourage and help people to start their own business.

In the South East Midlands we are delighted to announce that three events are being organised in Buckingham, to take place at the Univeristy of Buckingham and Buckingham Enterprise Hub.

These are free to attend and places are limited. You can find out about these events, register to attend and discover more about the Startup Europe Week by clicking HERE.

Why is Startup Europe Week 2016 being held?

Many global initiatives have been created to celebrate entrepreneurship. Typically, such events follow the Silicon Valley format (keynote motivational speeches, networking sessions etc).

But Europe, many say, is different and requires something more when it comes to starting a business. Regional diversity and local policy making play a big role in shaping European startups. European regions are key players, from helping entrepreneurs to incorporate a company, to providing grants or taxes breaks.
