Rural Funding Information Event for South East Midlands LEP

3rd March 2017

On 4 January Environment Secretary, Andrea Leadsom announced at the Oxford Farming Conference that £120m will be made available to support the rural economy

The South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership, including Northamptonshire Local Enterprise Partnership, has allocated £5m for businesses in our area and will be holding this event jointly with the Department of Food, Environment and Rural Affairs (Defra)

This event will showcase funding that is available in rural areas.  This will include the next European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) calls around business development, food processing and tourism infrastructure as well as the LEADER programme.  In addition to providing funding information, and how to apply there will also be the opportunity for businesses to discuss their project proposals with fund advisors.

A full programme of activities and venue confirmation will be forthcoming shortly.  In order not to miss out on this opportunity please register for updates at www.semlep.com.
