Abdul, who has held various roles in finance across the public and charity sector, now provides overall financial support to SEMLEP. This role includes audit preparation, preparing projected finances for grant/funding applications, quarterly finance reports and leading on payroll functions.

Abdul's previous positions include Faculty Finance Officer and Assistant Management Accountant at the University of Bedfordshire, Business Finance Analyst at Royal Mencap Society and Research Finance Officer at King’s College London.
