Chairman, Europa Components

David Sheridan joins the Board of SEMLEP with a breadth of experience, particularly in the SME and Scale-Up sectors. Currently Chairman and/or Director of a number of companies both in B2B and B2C sectors. His principal Company is a long term equity investor in UK scale-ups and was featured in the Sunday Times (Feb 2019).

A past President of the Beds, Bucks and Herts Society of Chartered Accountants and 3 years on the Council of the ICAEW as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Chartered Accountants in Business.

Been involved with SEMLEP for a few years as a member of the Growth Hub Board and as an Enterprise Advisor.

For the last 3 years, David has also been Chairman of The Shared Learning Trust, a multi-academy Trust based in Luton and has sponsored an engineering bursary for Luton students for the last 10 years.

Selected by Goldmann Sachs for their 10k course in 2018 aimed at owner managed scale-ups in the UK, he is now an alumnus.
