Business Development Manager, Galliford Try

Neus Garriock is Galliford Try’s Business Development Manager for the East Midlands region, where she is responsible for business development, customer satisfaction, sustainability and corporate social responsibility, communications – particularly social media – and wellbeing.  As a member of its regional Board, her remit also encompasses business strategy and planning, where she contributes her skills in analytical and strategic thinking to forecasting and sustainable development.

Originally from Spain, Neus has lived, studied and worked in the UK since 1995, becoming a UK citizen in 2000. She has enjoyed a varied career that has provided her with both international exposure and solid experience in the fields of new technological developments, telecommunications, project management, construction and regeneration, with the last 14 years seeing her hold a number of senior positions within the Galliford Try group of companies.

Neus is passionate about the built environment and its role in creating thriving communities and generating employment and opportunity for all. Through her long-standing commitment to the region she maintains a constant relationship with key stakeholders with interests in regeneration and economic development through the creation of a sustainable built environment. She aims to bring her strength in strategic thinking, planning and complex problem solving, as well as her extensive experience in bringing together disparate stakeholders to achieve challenging aims, to the SEMLEP Board.
